Elena Dove (born 1998, Chelyabinsk, Russia) is a contemporary painter based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Working primarily in oil paint, she is best known for figurative works that invite reflection on women's place in the world, often portraying female figures with blue skin and vivid accent colors.

Her practice focuses on womanhood in its emotional, cultural, and symbolic dimensions. Characterized by expressive color contrasts, subtle realism, and narrative undertones, her work highlights the complexity of feminine identity. An important ongoing series reimagines northern mythology through female forms, drawing inspiration from Icelandic landscapes to depict women as powerful, enigmatic, and deeply intertwined with nature. Her visual sensibilities are further enriched by a background in opera singing, shaping her dramatic approach to storytelling, rhythm, and theatre.

Elena Dove has been studying and working at the Dutch Atelier of Realistic Art (DARA) since 2023, and has served as a teacher-assistant there since 2024. She continues to expand her practice through exhibitions, narrative projects, and the development of contemporary figurative painting in the Netherlands.
